And that’s the end of Chapter 2!

I can’t believe it’s been 88 whole pages since starting . I’ve not always been on time, but we still hit this milestone. Thanks to y’all still reading and sticking with me!

I’m going to spend the next 5 or so weeks on a ‘hiatus’ to deal with some life stuff, as well as prep for Chapter 3. But no worries, there will be comics going up every week, just little things while we take a break from the main storyline.

I’m excited for Chapter 3! There will be new characters and (hopefully) more fun, and I hope you stick around!

One more page until the end of Chapter 2! It’s been a lot of hard work to get to this point, and I’m excited to reach the milestone of having two chapters (86 pages!!) under my belt!

I’m planning on taking a short hiatus after the end of Chapter 2 to get some things in order around here and to prep for Chapter 3, but don’t you fret, I’m planning on posting little comics every Wednesday during this hiatus exploring the world of Desendi.

But I’d really like these comics to be about the things you are interested in! What are things you want to know about the world? Things you want to ask the characters? Situations you think would be funny to see? Leave a comment with any of those burning questions and I might draw one of the hiatus comics addressing it!

Lolo’s got a plan!

We’re 2 pages away from the end of the chapter, and I’d like your help! After this chapter is complete, I’m going to take a short break to complete planning Chapter 3. But in that meanwhile, I want to post a little comic every week instead.

Lolo continues to be perturbed, Odessa continues to be obstinate.

I technically did get it in “on time” if “on time” you mean “at the very last moment that can be considered the same day”. But that’s fine.

Woodcarvings and textiles are important in the cultures of the Zentain Continent, and one of the things that made it so I missed last week’s update was not being sure how to approach it. I’m relatively pleased w/ how the story carving came out…

You’ll see similar carvings etched into the furniture, the posts, and the walls of the buildings in Galopon. Some of it is a distinct story, some of it mountain motifs, some of it particular to the person it belongs to. They’re everywhere!

Chapter 2 is 2/3s of the way complete! Excited to finally get into the drama of this thing a little more. You know, it’s interesting. Page-wise, it moves a lot faster. But update-wise, it feels like it’s taken a long time! Oh well. Just need to keep drawing.
